Great coffee!!! Fresh Cuban sandwich and lots of warm meals to choose from. A bit loud and busy but definitely a good place to find tasty food.

Cafeteria food at its worst. palomilla tasted like fish bc the pans are used for both fish and meat. Luke warm food. Hardly any parking. Inside screams "don't eat here something is dirty".

I got the pork, beans and yellow rice, and plantains and it was delicious! It's a quaint little restaurant that a local recommended I visit while in town. The only downside is they aren't open for dinner.

La Bamba is a great place when you want some traditional Latina food you can smell the cooking down the street! The food tastes phenomenal and has great flavor and depth to it your mouth will savor every bite!

This place is very nostalgic. Food was very good. I feel like I have half of the buffet in my to-go container. Only one con I have is, they do not move with a our purpose. The food is great, place is nice to sit and eat. I recommend La Bamba to everyone.

You may have to wait in a line to go through this cafeteria style restaurant, but it is worth the wait. An array of richly flavored cuban favorites made fresh daily will make it a tough decision, but they do offer samples to help you. Slow cooked pork and rope viega were two great choices, each served with two sides. We particularly liked the fried plantains, lightly fried with slightly tart plantains and the black beans and rice. La Bamba has friendly servers, great food, and a very small bill at the end of the line! La Bamba is only open for breakfast & lunch, and is closed on weekends.

It's not the common fancy restaurant, but in here the food has really good taste, big portions and super reasonable price. I recommend this place

Arguably one of the most underrated Cuban joints in Tampa. While many frequent for their amazing cafeteria-style lunch offering, I highly recommend their breakfast sandwich as well.

I work in the area and come here frequently for lunch. The food is fantastic, the service is fast, and the prices are cheap. I highly recommend coming here at least once to try it out. It does get pretty busy at noon, so I like to show up shortly before that to beat the rush.

The breakfast is perfect. Fast, tasty and cheap. They have the best coffee for miles but beware it's lava for the first five minutes.

The sandwich was good however I’m giving a 2 rating because I’ve noticed whenever the owners grandson serve me in the drive-thru he always gives me the incorrect change back. this has happened more than once and it’s always an even $1.00. Since it’s happened more than and it’s always the same amount, this appears to be an intentional behavior. This can add up if this behavior is done throughout the day.

This place is excellent. I tried La Bamba on a recommendation from a friend that works in Tampa. I have had a large majority of Tampa Bays Cuban sandwich locations. This one is right up there with the best of them. Rice and beans were flavorful and the prices were amazing. Got 4 sandwiches and a side of rice and beans for 25 bucks.Do yourself a favor, come for the Cuban but try the Breaded steak sandwich as well. It's crazy good!

If you haven’t made the time to pop into La Bamba you really should. Don’t be fooled thinking this is restaurant only for local businesses to dash in for lunch. This space is very clean, extremely friendly and efficient staff, people who really take pride in serving the masses. Super hot meals and fantastic breakfast options. Quality ingredients partnered with Tremendous portions for prices that don’t seem at all possible in today’s economy. Now what are you waiting for!!

Hole in the wall restaurant with great prices and good service. Oh, and the food is simply amazing. The line can be quite long around 12, so better get here at off times! Even if you did have to wait, it would be worth it!

This food is absolutely amazing. I prefer the roast pork. Plenty of food for your money. Can get a little busy during peak lunch time hours, so arrive early.

Line was very long but worth the wait. Only thing needs to change is there should be one person working the window and one tking care of the customers on the inside. Especially when its busy it would definitely mke the line move faster.

Very quick and efficient service. Wasn't familiar with the selections as it was my first time here, but the lady who helped me never seemed as though she was annoyed by my inexperience at all, she was extremely kind and helpful. The meal was delicious! I don't eat a lot of meat, but I couldn't resist ordering the pulled beef and pork to try and I'm so glad I did! Will definitely return.

The food is really good. They run you through the line cafeteria style, and they have a nice selection of options. The only reason why I docked it a star is because the guy in front of me had the same thing that I did, and paid with cash like I did, and his was a dollar cheaper.

Nice hidden gem for lunch for any local business person. Freshly-made meats and sides every day at reasonable prices. I usually get the half and half combo meal where you select two meat proteins (half and half orders of each) and two sides for about $7.50 if you have questions, the staff is helpful and will walk you through the ordering process. They also have a pick-up window if you want to call ahead and be in and out quickly. Always gets busy for lunch, so you know that's a good place.

Quick, affordable, great stop on way to airport

We came right at 6:55 am for breakfast. Got in at 7, and ordered our food right away. Within minutes, it was out, food was in, and here I am at 7:25 writing a review. I got a simple Cuban Sandwich with Bacon, and Cafe con Leche on the side. My husband ordered the same, but with Ham. It was SO GOOD!! We swapped, half and half, and I was so glad I did. Each had a great, distinct flavor. The cafe con leche was sweet and HOT. The staff is quiet and polite, the same for the decor. Not bad for a $13 breakfast for two!

This is the BEST Spanish cuisine on the planet. Hands DOWN! Food is always fresh, line is long at lunch time, same faces all the time. It's my favorite pastime here in Tampa .

Five stars for this fabulous restaurant but 2 stars for their Meatball sub. Not good. Stick with their Cuban sandwich! It’s amazing!!

In my quest to find the ultimate Cuban my daily pick was La Bamba. A small Cuban/South American restaurant. The Cuban was very near perfect. Tender, and tasty. The special of the day was a stuffed potato with beef. Unfortunately the potato took quite a bit longer than the Cuban. Nonetheless, the potato was good. Overall the staff was busy and still friendly. For the price of the Cuban it is one of my top 10.

This is my favorite hidden gem in Tampa. Although it's been really busy so not so sure how hidden it is anymore. Hands down best Cuban food I've had. It's a must try

Great Cuban Sandwich and breakfast too! I liked my half Cuban so much while eating there I got a whole one to go! And they're only like $4.75 each or so! I'm not even much of a Cuban Sandwich fan (prefer the mojo pork!), but once in a while they really hit the spot! This one did , and you can't beat the price!For tasty, authentic, reasonably priced Cuban food, this is the place. Breakfast & Lunch only. Family Owned. Decor could use an upgrade, but then the prices would probably go up!

This place is simply amazing. Great coffee, great food and amazing people. My family is from Cuba and my mother lives far away, eating their food makes me fell like home. Try it out if you want deliouse cuban food.
